Class /Self Evaluation

What i liked about the class was that i got to learn new information regarding computers and how to use them. Something else that i liked about this class was that i learned how to type at a faster speed. I think some suggestions that i could give are:

1. Teach us how to create websites.
2. Use different typing tutor websites.
3. Different types of typing activity's 

Did you really try your best in this class?

I did do my best in this class. I tried my best on every SSS that i typed and published. This class showed a lot of new things that i did not know about computers.

Are you commited to being a CTR person?

I am trying to be a CTR person the most that i can in school, at home, and every other place that i am at.

IDP Showcase

It was ok because in my presentation it was only me and my partner who presented everything out of 5 of our group members.My topic was about a disease called Mumps. My part was Policy and it was a little hard to research on that but eventually i found it. I learned that mumps can be prevented with the MMR vaccine.(MEASLES-MUMPS-RUBELLA). It benefitted me because it goes towards my grade.

This is a good quote becuase Mark is telling you that no matter what always do the right thing because then you wont have to fear anything. For example if i do something wrong and i no that i did it i am going to be scared because what if my mom finds out i did it or the police. But if i do the right thing then i wont have to fear because i know i have nothing to be scared about. So thats why always doing right is a good thing.

This quote means that if you we do the right thing, we won't have to fear of getting in trouble for doing wrong. Do the right, you will feel better about it. If you do wrong you will have to deal with guilt and maybe even consequences. Choose the right and there will be no fear. You wouldn't want to get in trouble so just choose the right. Do good and stay away from trouble. If you cause trouble then you will pay for it. Just do good and you will be fine.

This is a good statement by Lou Holtz because he is asking you the three questions to see if you are truly a CTR person.If the answers to the three questions are yes then you are a CTR person.

John F. Kennedy is saying that Physical fitness is the most importnat keys to healthy body but he is also saying that having intelligence and skill can only function at its finest if your body is healthy and strong. So what he is saying is that phyisical fitness is 

DUBAI

I would want to go to Dubai because it looks really beutiful and not only that but because it is a really luxiourus place. Dubai has many beutiful places to visit For Example, Burj Khalifa is located at the heart of Dubai. It is not only the tallest building in the city but also in the world. Its height of 82,984 meters makes it the owner of this title. Its incredible panoramic sight from the top is the most amazing thing about it. If you decide to visit Burj Khalifa, it would take you 6 hours to get to the top through the stairs. Another place i would want to visit is The Palm Islands in Dubai. They are located off the coast of The UAE in the Persian Gulf and add more than 500 kilometers of beaches to Dubai. The islands that form this beautiful place are: the Palm Jumeirah, the Palm Jebel Ali and the Palm Deira. Each settlement has been constructed in the shape of a palm tree. Also the malls at Dubai are really big and really beutiful.The biggest mall in Dubai has a total of 1,200 shops. Not only this mall is a miracle of design, but also offers much more interesting attractions than just shopping. Within you can find, cinemas, an aquarium, and even and ice rink.

This quote is trying to say that the essence of greatness is being kind because your kindness is what makes you great. For Example, if you see your parents stressed out over all the things she needs to do around the house like sweep, mop, cook, then you can lend her a hand and help her out. Another Example is if you see someone having trouble carrying something heavy and they need help then lend them a hand sometimes you might even get rewarded and if you dont you still will with greatness. So say if you did something good and you helped somebody out but that person doesnt reward you, you will still be rewarded with the best gift ever, GREATNESS.

This quote is trying to say that if you know something is not right do not do it and if something is not true do not say it. This is because if you say something that is not true and everybody starts spreading it someone can get hurt and you will get in trouble. If you start spreading rumors saying stuff about other people that is not true that persons feelings can get hurt. For Example if you know that your friends are going to go do something that is not right and they invite you to go do it with them you have to tell them no because its the right thing to do .

This is an amazing statement by Chick Moorman who implies that when you achieve something you have to achieve it in an honorable manner; Chick Moorman conveys that righteous conducts are much more important than the result of your achievement, whether you win or lose. Many are aware of the fact that a vital aspect in everyone’s life is a moral foundation. Without a moral foundation no one would be able to distinguish proper conducts from inadequate conducts. For example, say an elite gymnast is competing in a competition. The gymnast begins to feel pressured by the event and begins predicting numerous results, most of which are derived from fear. In order to enhance his performance, the gymnast consumes an illegal performance enhancing supplement and later wins the competition. Did the gymnast really win? Or did he decimate his moral compass and will from now, unless he decides to become a much more prosperous individual, on make inappropriate decisions? Overall, your pursuits should always be paved on a righteous road which will forever be the road to true success unlike the road of deceit and evil which will only lead to fabricated “success” and then destroy you.

Pharmacist

Prepares medications by reviewing and interpreting physician orders; detecting therapeutic incompatibilities. Dispenses medications by compounding, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals. Salary: The median annual wage for pharmacists was $111,570 in May 2010.

Education:

    Pharmacists must have a Doctor of Pharmacy, a 4-year professional degree. They also must be licensed, which requires passing two exams.

Reflection:

    After learning about this job I actually think I would like to become a pharmacist. Pharmacists actually get paid really well. They get paid $53.64 per hour. Not only that but working with people and helping them is something that I really enjoy doing.

These are three good statements but you need to have the courage or else these three statements will not work out. If you do not have the courage to stand up for yourself you will never get anywhere in life. If your friends call at 10 pm and invite you to go out with them but you have to study for a really big exam that you are going to take tomorrow but you don't have the courage to say no,You just ruined your grade because of you not being able to say no. Another example is if you go out with your friends one day and then one of your friends take out a pack of cigarettes and they tell you to get one and you don't want to take it but you don't have the courage to say no you just ruined your life because what if you got addicted and never stopped.These three things can help you live your life with integrity but only if you have the courage.

Marine Mechanical Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities:

 Marine engineers design, maintain, and repair the mechanical systems that are used in aircraft carriers, sailboats, submarines, cargo ships, and other marine vessels. Because there are so many different mechanical systems on ships, many marine engineers choose to specialize in designing certain types of equipment. Engines, pumps, and electrical systems are a few areas where a marine engineer may choose to focus.

Education:

Anyone interested in pursuing a career in marine engineering must complete a significant amount of education in science, technology and engineering. Degrees in marine engineering are available at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Bachelors degrees in marine engineering introduce students to basic concepts of marine propulsion, fluid dynamics and ship design.

 

Reflection:

I want to become a Marine Mechanical Engineer because I love to work on projects and being a mechanic for the marines is my dream job.

What this quote is trying to say is that if you make friends with wise people you will become wise and if you stick around with the group fools who do stupid stuff you will become like them. So always hang around with the wise people so that you can also become wise.You always want to make sure that you are with the wise people if not you are going to be stuck with the stupid people and then you will be harmed.

Veterans Day

The purpose of Veterans Day is honor the people who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces, also known as veterans.

On Veterans Day, we honor those individuals and reflect on their sacrifice. All of the men and women throughout history who fought in battles, served in the National Guard and the reserves or were stationed in a base, stateside or overseas, did their part to protect the safety and rights of Americans.

This reason is because all the good things things that you choose to do now are going to pay off in the future. I believe that this quote means that every thing in life you did it better to recreate the good and joyful moments. I is like if you had one chance to do something again you really have to think hard to pick something special and a thing you did good in because it's worth more than living a bad moment. And to do some really positive things to become the best at life. That is why it's always good to choose the right so that you can have a good name from people and you can recreate every thing because everything in your life is good. For example even if life is rough you can get backup and keep trying but you are still going to remember the bad things rather than the good forever.Another example if a friend or person offers you a beer or something bad and you do it you can't redo that moment because it effected you forever.

So this is going to help you out later in life because this quote can get you out of trouble. For example, your friends invite you to go egg bomb a house. This quote can help you because you know that's the wrong thing to do. Your so called friends get in trouble and get arested by the police. Nothing happened to you because you were at home and chose the right.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Health Educators teach people about behaviors that promote wellness. They develop and implement strategies to improve the health of individuals and communities. Community health workers collect data and discuss health concerns with members of specific populations or communities.

Education:

A certified health educator specialist is a health educator who passed a test in order to demonstrate competency and academic knowledge In the field. These professionals tend to work at nonprofit organizations and schools, teaching the public how to live healthy lifestyles. 

Reflection:

I would not like to become a health educator because they get paid very little. I’m not that good at giving people lessons so I don’t think that I’ll do a very good job.

It is better to choose to have a good name than to choose great riches because if you are not rich but you have a good name people are going to know you by that. On the other hand you can have all the money in the world but if you have a bad name you wont have whats most important, a family nor friends nor happiness. Most people would choose the riches over all of that so maybe they are millionaires but there name will never come out or be spoken by anyone because he had a bad name.

I would not like to be a healthcare administrator because that’s not what I want to do in my future career.

For example, all your actions reflect on the type of name people are going to see you as. If i borrow a dollar from a friend and tell him that i'm going to pay him back but i never do, i'm giving myself a bad name. On the other hand i borrow a dollar and i pay him back right the next day i am giving myself a good name because lets say a week later you need to borrow a dollar again because you need to take the bus that person is then going to say no because you never payed him/her back.On the other hand the person is going to be willing to let you borrow the dollar because they know that they don't have to worry about you not paying him back.Not only that but other people wouldnt mine letting you borrow it.

I like this quote because its giving you advice on what to do in the future so that you wont get into serious trouble because if you have friends that aren't truly friends who just hang out with you to dare you to do stuff and if you don't do it they wont hang out with you or talk to you those are not real friends. Real friends are the people who are always with you no matter what. If your going through good times or if your going through bad times.Real friends don't make you do what you don't want to do. Real friends help you out with your problems. For example if you have friends who are going to go egg bomb a house on halloween and you know that its a bad thing and you tell them NO, a real friend would say ok then we wont thats not right to do or if they are still going to do it they just tell ok then its fine don't come. A bad friend would start calling you names and make fun of you in front of every one. He will tell you that if you don't come you cannot hang out with them or talk to them. This is a really good quote that you can learn a lot from.

This quote means that if you are a CTR person and choose the right all the time you will be a champion and make a great human out of yourself.A CTR champion is someone who has made choosing the right a habit and no matter what they will always choose the right and thats why they are champions because not all of sudden you become a champion, you have to work for it and make a great human out of yourself.

Reflection:

I would not like to be a ENT specialist because this is not what I am looking into being in the future. This job would be good for people who like to work with people’s health. I like working with people but when it comes to hygiene and peoples looks that’s just not my thing.

Success just doesn't happen because you want it to it happens because you work for hard for it and all that hard work is going to pay off and the results of it is going to be success. You make the choice if you want to be successful or not its not just going to happen by itself if you don't make that choice.For example  if i'm studying every night because i want to be successful and there's some one is just partying every night instead of studying because i want to be successful in the future, that is my choice it is not just an accident because i'm working hard for that.We all have a choice and its either to succeed or to fail.

This quote means that when you reach your goal of becoming obedient, everything else is sturdy and not flimsy.As you start reaching your goal to becoming obedient it adds another building block because you have mastered it and it is sturdy now.

This quote means that learning obedience is the main object to learn.Obedience is the primary thing to learn for example learning obedience is going to help you in everything. If you learn to obey you will have freedom. Learning obedience is the main part of education.

Dermatologist

Duties and Responsibilities:

Dermatologists are physicians who treat conditions related to the skin, though they may also treat disorders related to the hair and nails. Reflection:

I would like to be a dermatologist because they get paid really well. Not only that but they treat conditions related to the skin and working with people is what I like to do.

Obedience

This is a good quote because it helps you out in the real world, For Example if you obey you will become, be and remain happy. If you obey it will make you happy in the long run.

I like this quote because it is saying that no matter what even if you are not good at basketball, that will not stop you from being a good CTR person.

Dental Assistant

Duties and Responsibilities:

Dental assistants assist the dental operator (dentist or other treating dental auxiliary) in providing more efficient dental treatment, by preparing the patient for treatment, sterilizing instruments, passing instruments during the procedure, holding suction devices, exposing dental radiographs, taking impressions, and fabricating provisional crowns. Dental operators can focus more time on the procedure; the dental assistant then effectively becomes the operator's extra hands.

Salary: $22,000 - $53,000

Education:

In some states, dental assistants can work in the field without a college degree, while in other states, dental assistants must be licensed or registered. Dental assistants are required to meet the minimum certification to work in the field. There are many things that dental assistants must consider while working in the field and arguably the most important is infection control

Reflection:

I wouldn’t like to be a dental assistant because I would not get paid that much. Not only that but I don’t like being an assistant in anything. For example, when we do a project I don’t like being the assistant, I like to be the one who presents.

Reflection:

I think I would like to become a dentist because they get paid really well and not only that but they work with people and take care of their personal hygiene. I like careers that help people with their appearance. For example, Doctor they help people with body problems and give them regularly checkups.

I like this quote because it makes me double think about my choices. If it wasn't for this quote i would've been in trouble several times. For example this one time my friends told me to go egg bomb a house but i didn't want to because i knew i was going to feel bad. i told them no and they started calling me names so i just went home. later on that day i passed down that street and i had seen my friends handcuffed. if i were to make the wrong choice like them it would've been me in the handcuffs

Reflection:

I would like to become a Chiropractor because working with the human body is what I like to do. I also like their annual wage because I feel like it’s a good annual income that they make.

I like this quote because it explains to you really well how your life is going to be in the long run.He tells us that if you obey you will have freedom. For example if you start obeying your parents know they will give you all the freedom you want but you have to be obedient.

      This means that you listen to the rules and follow them. For example when you follow the rules that makes you obedient.

 Cardiologists are doctors who specialize in diagnosing and treating diseases or conditions of the heart and blood vessels—the cardiovascular system. You might also visit a cardiologist so you can learn about your risk factors for heart disease and find out what measures you can take for better heart health. Education:

Aspiring cardiologists need to obtain their bachelor's degree and then enroll in a medical school         program. After graduating from medical school, they complete several years of internal medicine and cardiology training in a residency program. After medical school, students attend six to eight more       years of general internal medicine training and specialized cardiology training through a residency.    

   

Reflection:
I would like to be a cardiologist in my future career because working with patients with heart problems is what i like to do and having a career where i can do something i like and get paid for doing it.

9/11

9/11 happened in September 11, 2001. 19 militants associated with the Islamic extremist group al-Qaeda hijacked four airliners and carried out suicide attacks against targets in the United States. Two of the planes were flown into the towers of the World Trade Center in New York City known as the twin towers, a third plane hit the Pentagon just outside Washington, D.C., and the fourth plane crashed in a field in Pennsylvania. Often referred to as 9/11, the attacks resulted in extensive death and destruction, triggering major U.S. initiatives to combat terrorism and defining the presidency of George W. Bush. Over 3,000 people were killed during the attacks in New York City and Washington, D.C., including more than 400 police officers and firefighters.

Reflection:  I feel bad about what on September 11 2011. There was a lot of innocent people that died that day. So for that i feel sorry for all those innocent family's.
