The dentist’s supporting team aids in providing oral health services. The dental team includes dental assistants, dental hygienists, dental technicians, and in some states, dental therapist.

Education:

Aspiring dentists need to complete years of education, training and residency before starting a practice of their own. They also need to decide on the type of dentistry they plan to pursue, whether general, pediatric or some form of oral or maxillofacial surgery. In addition to formal education, many future dentists may benefit from training in communication and management, specifically to hone the skills needed to run an office and hire, train and maintain a staff.

Reflection:

I think I would like to become a dentist because they get paid really well and not only that but they work with people and take care of their personal hygiene. I like careers that help people with their appearance. For example, Doctor they help people with body problems and give them regularly checkups.
