to honor US veterans and victims of all wars.

The
purpose of Veterans Day is honor the people who have served in the U.S. Armed
Forces, also known as veterans.
3. Why is it important to show honor and
respect on Veterans Day?
On
Veterans Day, we honor those individuals and reflect on their sacrifice. All of
the men and women throughout history who fought in battles, served in the
National Guard and the reserves or were stationed in a base, stateside or
overseas, did their part to protect the safety and rights of Americans.

5. What are a few ways to show honor and
respect on Veterans Day?

secretly pay their tab.

8. I appreciate all of the veterans who
served in war and in the base. They put themselves out in the battlefield to
protect us and make sure that we are safe. For that I am thankful. I think that
everybody should put up a flag to show respect. There are many tangible ways we can acknowledge their sacrifice, but the easiest is to simply say, "Thank you for what you have done for our country."
