Duties and Responsibilities:
Health Educators teach people about behaviors that promote
wellness. They develop and implement strategies to improve the health of
individuals and communities. Community health workers collect data and discuss
health concerns with members of specific populations or communities.
Salary: $50,197 - $67,677
Education:
A certified health educator specialist is a health educator
who passed a test in order to demonstrate competency and academic knowledge In
the field. These professionals tend to work at nonprofit organizations and
schools, teaching the public how to live healthy lifestyles.
Reflection:
I would not like to become a health educator because they
get paid very little. I’m not that good at giving people lessons so I don’t think
that I’ll do a very good job.
